Since 1998, radio stations have been raising funds and awareness for their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. Today, more than 340 stations reach 30 million listeners annually with their heartfelt stories of children treated at their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. Radiothon continues to be one of Children’s Miracle Network’s key fundraising initiatives, generating more than $52 million, worldwide, in 2008.

Thanks to the underwriting support of Foresters, all funds raised during a Radiothon stay in the community where they are raised. Foresters was also pivotal in founding the Radiothon program in 1998. Foresters support helps pay for the costs of Radiothons so all funds raised through each event stay in the local community. Foresters also provides additional support to Radiothon events in key markets through volunteering, local sponsorships, and direct donations to hospitals.

Today the Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon program has become one of the most effective fundraising programs of all time. Radiothons are quality broadcasting that communicate that a station cares about kids and their community.
